John D Wood management team are responsible for the rent collection and general day to day management of 5 retail units, 8 offices and 3 residential units. In 2020 John D Wood was apart of the planning team which successfully acquired planning to re-develop the building, works will include a rear extension up to third floor to create 8 residential units and additional office space without affecting the front façade and retailing the five retail units. John D Wood project management team look forward to bringing this exciting scheme to fruition in 2021.

An established overseas investor purchased the Long leasehold interest of two offices in this city fringe location. The properties were purchased in shell and core condition. John D Wood project management team arranged and oversaw the fit out of the Property. The Property is now fully let and income producing.

Relay Building, 114 Whitechapel High Street, E1

One of the largest building under John D Wood management is the mixed use 21 storey tower sitting above Aldgate East tube station. Purchased in 2018 as a Joint venture between two established John D Wood clients. John D Wood have appointed a dedicated team of facilities managers to be based in this building to deal with the numerous amounts of tenants. The building has recently undergone significant improvements and has zero retail or office vacancy.

Titchfield House, Tabernacle Street, EC2

John D Wood has assisted with the vendor of the Shoreditch island scheme in getting vacant possession for the upcoming development. The scheme will see the six-storey 1970s Titchfield House in Tabernacle Street and the 10-storey Picture House demolished and rebuilt. There will also be extension and renovation of existing townhouses on Great Eastern Street. Overall the scheme will create 1,546m2 of retail space and 7,242m2 of office space as well as nine homes. Development is due to commence Q1 2021.
